As part of my studies in BTS SIO (Services Informatiques aux Organisations), I launched my own website and portfolio at antonin.skapski.fr. Beyond just wanting to build one, I needed a centralised space that was 100% my own to showcase my profile to recruiters—whether for internships, work-study placements, or future job opportunities—where a paper CV remains too limited.
Rather than using an off-the-shelf tool, I chose to design a custom interface and manage its deployment on my VPS myself, handling the web server configuration, domain name, and security. The website itself serves as direct technical proof of my skills.
Today, antonin.skapski.fr fulfils three main goals:
Retracing my journey: presenting my academic path, from the Baccalauréat STMG (spécialité SIG) up to the BTS SIO, as well as my first experiences in the workplace.
Documenting my projects: detailing the technical workings of my coursework and personal projects (web development, scripts, system administration, and game servers) with concrete examples.
Centralising my tech watch and skills: providing professionals with a clear, structured, and continuously updated view of my technical progress and contact details.
